HolmiumHolmium is a chemical element originated from Stockholm, Sweden (with the Latin nameHolmia). It was first mentioned in 1878 and observed by M. Delafontaine. “Ho” is the canonical chemical symbol of holmium. Its atomic number in the periodic table of elements is 67 with location at Period 6 and Group 3, belonging to the f-block. The relative atomic mass of holmium is 164.930 32(2) Dalton, the number in the brackets indicating the uncertainty.
