Stanford Advanced Materials (SAM) supplies spherical Inconel 718 powder (UNS N07718) used for 3D printing additive manufacturing.
Inconel alloy is a family of nickel-chromium superalloys and a trademark of Special Metals Corporation. It is typically used in high-temperature applications. Inconel alloy 718 (UNS N07718) is often used for applications that require resistance to corrosion and heat.
SAM’s spherical Inconel 718 powder has low oxygen content, high purity, excellent flowability, high apparent and tap densities, and perfect spherical shape, which could be used in 3D printing.
Size distribution:
-15-45 and 25-45 microns (laser additive manufacturing or coatings)
-45-106 microns (electron beam additive manufacturing)
-45-150, 45-250 and 0-250 microns (CIP and HIP)
Other grades for choice: A286(UNS S66286),17-7PH(AISI 631), Hiperco 27, Hiperco 50, Hastelloy C276, Invar 36, Inconel 625, Inconel X-750
SAM’s spherical Inconel 718 powder has a wide range of applications, including:
-Additive Manufacturing (3D printing)
-Metal Injection Moulding (MIM)
-Cold and Hot Isostatic Pressing (CIP and HIP)
-Coatings
